Basil's Kite are an experimental punk/metal band comprised of 3 members spanning from Wollongong/Sydney to Katoomba. With 2013's Technicolour Fuckfest EP and 2015's Celestial Shitshow EP behind them, this tour they are releasing their second single from their forthcoming album, ‘Sun Is Smiling’, a song about questioning life choices at the beach.

Year6Disco are a 5 piece eclectic Goth Disco group formed late 2018. Despite only just now entering their 2nd year of existence, with consistent releases, prolific DIY touring and chaotic live performances Y6D have already made themselves into a staple of the local scene

SCAB BABY are a two-piece genre blending punk band from Wollongong’s Northern Suburbs. Beginning in mid 2017, the two boys both named Tom, have quickly identified themselves as one of the area’s most electrifying live bands.

'Surplus Johnnies is Wollongong's musical equivalent to BHP's  emissions of dioxins. With a constant output of albums and EPs, including their latest, CUNT, their sound can be best described as post-punk (though having missed the 'post-punk revival' boat by about a decade, both Michael Manzini and Simon McNamee, the founding members of Surplus Johnnies, realise how unfashionable this is) mixed with POP (persistent organic pollutants) and the internalised, aggressive self-loathing that is the product of prolonged unemployment interrupted by short periods of wage slavery that suffocates and deadens the soul and begs for musical expression in a vain attempt at what Freud might have called 'sublimation'. Dubbed the Jimmy McGrory of Australian music by Jack Tickner, Surplus Johnnies is the prole art threat you didn't know you needed: come gurn through ecstasy with them.'
