The Brunswick Ballroom proudly presents the Ballroom Supper Club.

Three free nights of fun, music and beverages from 10pm until close.

On Saturday 17th April our featured artist is Jason Bunn who will be joined on stage by the talented and amazing Brooke Russell.

Jason Bunn has held the position of Tutti Viola in Orchestra Victoria since 2000, and is often called upon to play Associate Principal Viola.

Jason Studied at the University of Melbourne with Christopher Martin and Spiros Rantos between 1988 and 1992. Before joining Orchestra Victoria he performed with the Melbourne Symphony, Tasmanian Symphony, and the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra. As a chamber musician, he performs regularly with the Waratah String Quartet and the Parkville Ensemble, as well as playing for contemporary ensembles including Elision, Aphids and Topology.

In 2007 Jason spent a year in Europe, having some tuition from Garfield Jackson of the Endellion String Quartet, and working with the Holland Symfonia, the Rotterdams Kamerorkest and the Oldenburgisches Staatsorchester.

He also has a keen interest in folk and country music, playing with several local bands and songwriters. His current band “Jemma and the Clifton Hillbillies” was nominated for best country album in the 2015 Age Music Victoria Awards.




TICKETING INFO

Due to current Covid restrictions shows will be seated and limited per sitting. 

Please note: Tables cannot be joined together on the evening. Please ensure everyone you wish to seat at your table is included in your booking to avoid being seated separately. Ideally if you can arrive together at the same time, that will help with seating you all together.

Please adhere to social distancing at all times and follow direction from venue staff.

Customers are required to check-in via the Service Victoria App as they enter the venue.

The venue will be taking a number of precautionary measures to ensure patron safety, including:

- Signage and social distancing markers throughout the venue
- Regular sanitising of the venue and full clean between sittings

Photo ID is essential, acceptable ID is a current and valid Australian Photo Drivers Licence, State Approved ‘Proof of Age’ card or Passport.
