'Ballerina' single launch, with special guests Ken Loh & Chris Neto

Come down to the Staves Brewery Glebe to celebrate the launch of 'Ballerina' the debut single from singer songwriter Steph Wood. Featuring special guests Ken Loh & Chris Neto, enjoy the afternoon drinking Staves in house brewed beers while listening to the acoustic sounds of local inner west songwriters. 

Sydney-based singer songwriter, Steph Wood, 25,  is an artist on the rise and has been sharing her stories through her melancholic and mesmerising folk-rock sound. Steph’s vulnerable story-telling matched with her infectious melodies are sure to keep you enthralled. After years of her personal journey into songwriting, Steph decided to make it official with a degree in Songwriting and Music along with many solo acoustic performances around Sydney.

Steph decided to take her debut single 'Ballerina' to local Sydney Producer Tim McArtney (Lisa Mitchell, Gurrumul, Gang of Youths, and Jarryd James). Along with drummer Andy Horvath, ‘Ballerina’ was recorded in January 2022 at Hercules Street Studios across 4 days of creativity, experimentation, and intent. Drawing influence from Mazzy Star and Nashville artist Savannah Conely, Steph plans to follow in these footsteps to create a name for herself in the folk-rock scene.
