BAD//DREEMS 'Cuffed & Collared' Tour 2015
This event has passed and sales are now closed
Adelaide’s BAD//DREEMS are today excited to announce they will be hitting the road this coming June for an east coast tour with shows in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The band was scheduled to tour with The Black Keys but due to Patrick Carney's ongoing shoulder injury the tour was cancelled. Whilst this wasn't great news for Bad//Dreems fans in true underdog spirit, the band have bounced back and will be taking their rugged brand of underground guitar rock up the East Coast this June.
Cuffed & Collared is the first single from their forthcoming debut album and was released two weeks ago to a sea of praise from fans and media both home and abroad. The track was immediately added to Triple J rotations, is currently #1 on the AMRAP Metro Community Radio Charts, and has been described by one of the UK's most influential blogs 'The Line Of Best Fit' as being "the best pure rock and roll moment of 2015".
Cuffed & Collared sees Bad//Dreems return to the studio with the legendary Mark Opitz (AC/DC, Cold Chisel, The Angels, INXS), who produced Dumb Ideas and is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on the band's soon to be released debut LP.
This time around Cuffed & Collared explores the sacrifices and conformity of adult life and again sees the band mix raw garage rock with vivid and heartfelt vocals that have rapidly become their trademark.
Bad//Dreems are taking their explosive live show to the UK for the first time this May with a 12 - date tour including appearances at Handmade Festival, Live At Leeds, and The Great Escape.
Having already shared stages with the likes of The Sunnyboys, The Scientists, Violent Soho, The Preatures, and Cosmic Psychos, as well as festival appearances at CMJ Music Marathon, St Jerome's Laneway Festival, Groovin The Moo and Boogie Festival, it's fair to say these four blokes, who met at their local football club are definitely on the rise.
