In 2014, Astral People will be presenting Astral & Friends, a bi-monthly showcase of some of Sydney's finest local music, held at Goodgod Small Club. The series of shows will focus on fostering some of the best young talent this city has to offer, as well as establishing a home for the most ambitious new artists in Sydney to emerge onto the live scene. Equally affordable as they are intimate, the shows will offer fans a chance to see the beginnings of some of Australia's most promising new artists, as well as some of our favourite DJs from around town.

On the verge of releasing a follow up to 2011's Sunsets EP, Polographia will bring their epic electronic anthems to the Danceteria stage in the first installment of Astral & Friends. They'll be joined on the bill by Black Vanilla - the trio turning heads with their ultra-smooth, ultra-addictive brand of electronic R&B. The always forward-thinking Cliques will join the aforementioned with one of their infinitely evolving and constantly engaging DJ sets, while Preacha and Modern Fairytale will round out the night by spinning tunes until sunrise.

As our local artists gain more attention both domestically and internationally, Astral & Friends will endeavor to provide punters with opportunities to catch some of their favourite artists in intimate settings without denting the wallet. The nights are no doubt set to feature a plethora of new tunes, so jump on tickets early for this one.
