ANNOUNCE VERY SPECIAL AUSTRALIAN HEADLINE SHOWS AHEAD OF '90S EXTRAVAGANZA SO POP!

Frontier Touring and Arena Touring are thrilled to confirm that '90s pop icons Aqua and Vengaboys will join forces for a series of headline shows whilst in Australia for So Pop, the ultimate throwback pop experience!

In February 2019, they'll take the stage together for co-headline shows in Melbourne and Darwin, with Vengaboys performing one additional show in Wollongong. Joining Vengaboys as special guests in Wollongong will be the legends behind 'Coco Jamboo', Mr President, and the SkitzMix master himself, renowned Aussie DJ Nick Skitz.

Aqua are the greatest pop phenomenon Denmark has ever seen. Bursting onto the scene with their 1997 debut album Aquarium (6x ARIA Platinum), Aqua's era-defining pop resulted in undisputed '90s anthems 'Barbie Girl', 'My Oh My' and 'Turn Back Time'. Their knack for catchy pop tunes resulted in sophomore album hits 'Cartoon Heroes' and 'Around The World' and after a transitional break, the stars returned to the studio for ambitious and bold third album Megalomania. When Aquamania hits our shores, 'Doctor Jones' has the only cure!

But the party doesn't stop there - get ready to jump on the Vengabus! Dutch Eurodance idols Vengaboys are bringing all their undeniable classics down under this summer. Winners of the World Music Award for Best-Selling Dance Group in 2001, Vengaboys wrote the rules on infectious pop hooks with hits like'Boom Boom Boom Boom!!', 'We Like To Party (The Vengabus)'and 'We're Going To Ibiza!'. Their eccentric style enraptured fans, with each artist offering something unique: Cowboy Donnie, Captain Kim, PartyGirl D'Nice and SailorBoy Robin. Vengaboys' mesmerising live performance will transport crowds back to the '00s and have them dancing like they're 'Uncle John from Jamaica'!
