Apricot Ink is a new project by a group of Canberra based musicians and producers. Gus, Sara and Willo make up the 3-piece Alt-Pop project. A motley crew of Canberrans who got together during ISO to make music. Taking influences from Dub, Hip Hop and Pop. Apricot Ink takes production influence from The XX and Mac Miller, as well as drawing from BENEE and Billie Eilish for a pop balance. Their most recent single, Not OK, bounces around the alt-pop realm, whilst sprinkling danceable bass grooves. Swinging 808 drums and warm toned guitars in the mix. They've supported BOO Seeka for 3 sold out shows at Mary's Underground in November last year. Playing in front of welcoming audiences and blowing them off their covid safe seats. They won a bunch of people over and even sold out of their merch by then third show. Their debut double single Lucky Rainbow/Carmelyzed Crusade has accumulated over 544K streams since its release. Gathering support from the local music scene as well internationally. A band to look out for in the coming years.

On support is Laura Hyde. A master of the dark pop elements and executes it to new heights. Hyde melts subdued electronic textures, sparse beats and infectious vocals and works it in a dark pop realm. Taking acoustic singer-songwriter styles and reimagining them through an electronic prism with quirky alt-pop sensibilities. Her bold and reflective songwriting navigates through personal lessons and human relationships that hit on an emotional and physical level. Laura Hyde has previously played Woodford Folk Festival and Bello Winter Music Festival. She's supported Gold Member, BOO Seeka and Aya Yves and Canadian legends, The East Pointers. Her previous single, Bliss, garnered some play listing action on Apple Music and Spotify. With the single accumulating over 280k streams. Bliss was added to editorial playlists and featured on international music blogs and influential playlists. She'll be releasing some great new music this year and playing more shows.

Stoked to be presenting to you a great lineup of up and coming Aussie artists!
