For the first time in 5 years, Berlin based electronic music tastemaker, Apparat returns to Sydney to perform an intimate DJ set at Oxford Arts Factory on Friday 20th November, presented by Tigerstyle Agency.

Apparat is a producer that needs no introduction, with a career spanning more than a decade he has constantly been at the forefront of the electronica scene. Both a world renowned live performer and selector, his eclectic tastes know no boundaries.

Starting off with dance-floor orientated techno, he has moved towards more ambient music and soundscapes in recent years, composing music for German theatre and feature films, his score for the production of Tolstoy's 'War and Peace' by Sebastian Hartmann, received the German-theatre equivalent of an Oscar in 2012.

More recently he has again collaborated with Modeselektor as the group "Moderat", releasing their critically acclaimed second album "II" on Monkeytown.
