IN THE WORKS
An Albums worth from Allensworth.
“No song should last much more than two minutes” was the initial idea for Allensworths new album. The southern California soul quintet is due to release “Albumsworth” the 25th of January 2019. The whole record was recorded in 3 late nights sessions at Lovestreet Studios on the Gold Coast. The two minute rule stood true for a few tracks but others had to evolve into extended versions because they were just too good to cut short.
Jamie Allensworth’s songwriting pulls from his life and observations; his heartache and joy. Sometimes it’s groovy, other times he’s vulnerable and sincere.
With new ventures, collaborations, and a baby girl, Songster Jamie Allensworth has kept busy documenting it all. The album paints a summertime mural, coloring the audible spectrum with anthems of love, debauchery, and new life.
