Ainslie Wills has earned an enviable reputation for writing songs that are musically powerful and earnestly delivered.

Combining her unfaltering vocals with profound lyricism and thought provoking melodies, Ainslie Wills sets out to create music that is genre bending, unique and personal. With a captivating and commanding stage presence, Ainslie’s music has seen her tour both nationally and internationally, being invited to support the likes of Leon Bridges , Grouplove , Michael Kiwanuka , Hiatus Kaiyote , Tom Chaplin and Vance Joy ; in addition to her own sold out headline shows in Australia and UK.

Crafting honestly told stories, Ainslie is gathering an army of lifelong converts. “All the ingredients of mature pop bliss lie in the work of Ainslie Wills ,” said The Guardian of an artist who is as diverse and capable as she is true to her own distinctive style of songwriting.

Ainslie’s latest releases Society and Running Second have both been nominated by APRA for ‘Song of the Year.’ Ainslie says of the song, “ Running Second is for all of us who, for whatever reason, feel we aren’t good enough. It serves as a reminder that we are in fact enough.”

Ainslie describes her single Society as “A song about the enormous amount of pressure that some of us feel when we haven’t and aren’t likely to tick all of the conventional boxes. I want this song to be a catalyst for conversation about such things.”

Ainslie has also been recognised by slots at Falls Festival , NYE on the Hill , Queenscliff Music Festival, WOMADelaide, Splendour in the Grass , BIGSOUND, Reeperbahn Festival, Paradiso and The Great Escape . Ainslie’s music has been picked up by Lauren Laverne and Guy Garvey (BBC6), as well as receiving high rotation on triple j for single Drive.

In August 2019 Ainslie Wills plans to release her anticipated upcoming debut album, All You Have Is All You Need.
