2026 Scott Group of Companies Mount Gambier Gold Cup

Join us for The Scott Group of Companies Mount Gambier Gold Cup to be held on Friday 22 May 2026. Enjoy a day trackside with entertainment, local food and wine, fashion and of course top quality racing.  And there's more than the cup day itself.  

A super exciting addition to this year's Gold Cup is the addition of the Sportsmans Marquee.  This marquee will feature a full drinks package, savor gourmet served throughout the day and in attendance will be Australian horse racing  and cricket legends, Jim Cassidy and Greg Ritchie.  

Mount Gambier will be well and truly gripped with racing fever.

Enjoy the all inclusive options of catered or uncatered marquees, members & guests luncheon or general admission including the Hard Rated Enclosure with access to food vans, live music and fashions on the field.

And back after a successful debut is the Atrium, brought to you by Ray White.  On top of the premium fitout, food, bar, including cocktails, this will be fashionistas central and where the Fashions on the Field competition will be based.  Prizes will be offered for Best Dressed Womenswear, Best Dressed Menswear and Best Duo.

Experience the real thunder of the hooves as the thoroughbreds pass by. Unite with the crowd cheering on your horse and jockey as they pass the winning on their way to completing a full lap of the circuit. Have a flutter at the various on-course TAB and Book Maker facilities provided.

Courtesy buses will leave from The Jens and Globe Hotel Carpark in Mount Gambier and return after the last race.
