Getting There

The PALACE THEATRE is located at the top of Bourke Street, Just down from the intersection of Spring & Bourke Street's and a stones throw from Parliament House. BY CAR: KINGS CAR PARK is located almost directly opposite our venue and can be entered via McIlwraith Place. Secure, open 24hrs a day & you don't need to worry about parking fines. BY TRAIN: The closest train station is Parliament Station, which is part of Melbourne's city loop. Once off the train head towards the Collins St exit & you will pop out right on the corner of Bourke St you should be able to see us from there! BY TRAM: There are two trams that stop directly at our front door how convenient! They are the -#86 Bundoora/RMIT to Telstra Dome & the #96 East Brunswick to St Kilda Beach. Just hop off at the Spring St stop (which is located on Bourke). BY BUS: For a late night bus service that is a cheap & safe option as you head home you can always take the Nightrider. This departs from Swanston Street every hour between 12.30am & 4.30am on Saturdays & Sundays. BY TAXI: We have a taxi rank conveniently located outside our front door. As an added bonus, this is one of four designated Safe City Taxi Ranks, which are staffed by a uniformed security guard from midnight on Friday & Saturday nights, until 6am. There is also a duress button and safe camera's are in action.

Facilities

The cloakroom is located on the Ground Floor to the right of the main room. THERE IS A FEE per item. Eftpos facilities are also located here.

Accessibility Info

The Palace has a moveable ramp close to the front door please call staff on the week of the show 9650 0180, as we will usually ask you to enter 15 minutes prior to doors opening. The main room has ramps all the way to the stage and the stage can be viewed from a graduated floor. The Palace Theatre has three levels. Levels one & two can only be accessed via stairs.
