Ah French electro, like ’70s disco its nothing but good times and a license to party. Last decade there was a time when it was hard to find a club playing anything else and at that time Yuksek was just becoming one of the heavy hitters. Now the producer is launching his own label aptly named Partyfine and has booked in a string of Australian dates to introduce us to his new wares.
Partyfine is a label that has been created in the name of creative freedom and Yuksek describes its philosophy as a gathering and collaboration of like minded musicians:
“The label is a natural extension of my past years where I have produced for other artists. I met many of Partyfine’s collaborators this way (JD Samson, The Magician, Oh Land, Juveniles etc) and just felt like extending the experience, writing music with them, not just for them.”
The debut release from Partyfine features two new tracks from the man himself with one of the tunes featuring vocals from Danish indie princess Oh Land.
Yuksek touches down in July and you can check out the full tour details below.
