It seems like almost everyone is a DJ these days, but not many toddlers are known for hitting the decks as hard as three-year-old Oratilwe Hlongwane, better known as DJ Arch Jnr, who just won over a huge crowd on South African television.
DJ Arch Jnr, who comes complete with his own puffy red jacket and Beats headphones endorsement, has nailed his audition on South Africa’s Got Talent by making people lose their s**t over a very brief session of tunes.
Footage of DJ Arch Jnr’s set on South Africa’s Got Talent (below) sees the toddler mix up some rhythms with ease, flicking faders and turning knobs to get the crowd going so nuts that the judges press the “golden button” to send him straight through to the semi-finals.
Arch is chill AF behind the decks, and manages to score a standing ovation for about half a minute of work. That said, the crowd reacts as if the wonder-kid has revolutionised the DJ game, so much so that some people actually look like they’re freaking out.
DJ Arch Jnr first rose to notoriety after his dad, Glen Hlongwane, began posting videos of him on YouTube in January. Since then, he’s racked up over 50,000 Facebook followers and endorsements from the likes of Guess Kids, Mini Cooper and Djay Software.
