Watch The Last Shadow Puppets Dance To Tame Impala, Cover David Bowie At Glastonbury

The muddy, chaotic and beautiful scene that is the 2016 Glastonbury Festival has played host to some shenanigans from Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner, who has been captured on film rocking out to Aussie legends Tame Impala and covering a classic by the late David Bowie.

Footage has emerged of Turner and his The Last Shadow Puppets bandmate Miles Kane loving themselves some Tame Impala tunes at this year’s Glastonbury. The video (below) sees Turner and Kane show their love with some white man dance moves, as Kevin Parker and his band perform the song The Less I Know The Better.

Also during their time at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, The Last Shadow Puppets (backed by a string section) paid tribute to David Bowie by performing a cover of Moonage Daydream, from Bowie’s album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. The performance took place on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, over which currently hangs a giant Ziggy Stardust-style lightning bolt. Catch footage of the cover, below.

Aside from The Last Shadow Puppets’ Bowie tribute, this year’s Glastonbury Festival has also seen a group of die-hard Bowie fans organise their own “GlastonBowie” tribute, belting out the late musician’s songs for all to hear.

Glastonbury 2016 wraps up today, Sunday, 26th June.
