Watch Green Day Get Framed For Robbery In New ‘Bang Bang’ Video

Green Day have just released a music video for their new single Bang Bang, and in it the boys are stirring things up, Point Break style.

Directed by Tim Armstrong from Rancid, the Bang Bang video (below) features three masked robbers dressed as Billie Joe, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool, busting into a bank equipped with huge guns and backpacks.

After breaking news coverage identifies the felons as members of Green Day, they escape the bank, climb into a getaway jeep, and tear off their masks. Low and behold, it isn’t them at all, but is in fact two bombshell babes and a dapper dude.

Cashed up, the trio make their way to where the actual Green Day boys are playing at a house party. The impersonators burst in, make their way through the mosh-pit and start dancing, throwing handfuls of cash over the crowd.

Bang Bang is taken from Green Day’s forthcoming new album Revolution Radio, which is due for release on 7th October. The group have also already shared the album’s title track with fans.

Watch the video for Bang Bang, below.
