Watch Crooked Colours Take On Noughties Banger ‘Suga Suga’ For ‘Like A Version’

Perth trio Crooked Colours have turned everyone’s fave early noughties banger, Baby Bash’s ‘Suga Suga’, into an indie slow jam for triple j‘s Like A Version covers segment.

While one hit wonders often make for great LAV covers, Crooked Colours have transformed the song into a brooding tune that doesn’t slack on the percussive intensity or pulsating synths, with frontman Philip Slabber even doing Baby Bash’s raps justice.

As well as the cover, the band also performed their original track ‘Flow’, taken from their debut album Vera which was released in 2017.

You can watch both performances below.
