Watch Allday’s New Video ‘Right Now’, Get Debut Album ‘Startup Cult’ In July

The Prince Of Steeze himself Allday has dropped the video for latest single Right Now, and the clip comes with a tasty update on that long awaited full-length debut, which we now know will be called Startup Cult.

The Right Now video immediately sets itself head and shoulders above anything we’ve seen from the multimedia rapper thus far. Whilst we’re sure there’s some form of metaphorical message that can be read here, it’s well above our level of understanding. So thank you for the Friday morning head fuck, man.

The track itself was released some weeks back and sees Alldeezy kick things into a new gear as the album release date draws closer, and now he wants you to know that EPs and mixtape time is over. On the album’s title, he says “‘Startup’, because this is the beginning of everything,” he says. “Although I’ve put out a lot of free music in the past, this is my debut album and I wanted people to know that this is the first piece of art I want to be judged on. It’s also the beginning of a new era in Australian Rap music.”

And don’t expect the Allday phenomenon to blow over any time soon. “‘Cult’, because I don’t want to be a flash in the pan artist,” he states. “I don’t want to be a cool artist, I want to be somebody whose music makes a difference to your life. It’s also to say that I don’t care if I never sell a million records, as long as the people who do buy the record love it and treasure it like it’s their religion.”

Startup Cult will drop on Friday, 4th July. The record will be available in a number of pre-order options including one that comes with a lock of Allday’s hair in a vial for all you Chubby creepers out there.
