The WA Music Conference has once again added new speakers to its massive roster. The music conference is part of the WAM Festival and brings together industry representatives from booking agencies and music labels to offer up advice and insight.
The new speaker announcement is headed up by Itch-E and Scratch-E member, Andy Rantzen who is now on the Australian Council for the Arts. He is joined by Eskimo Joe frontman, Kev Temperley and Canadian Music Week Festival Programmer, John Kastner amongst others.
These additions mean the WA Music Conference now has a huge 55 industry speakers. Some of the names already announced include triple j's Assistant Music Director, Nick Findlay, author and photographer, Ian Jorgensen, and local artist Abbe May.
The Conference is part of the wider WAM Festival which includes an awards show and music showcases. Across a number of events, artists like The Love Junkies, Slumberjack, Mt Mountain and Usurper of Modern Medicine will all play sets, showcasing just how good West Australian music is right now.
The WAM Festival runs from 6th - 8th November with the music conference set to take place from the 7th.
