With only weeks to go until the release of new album Vengeance Falls, metal powerhouse Trivium have unveiled the music video for lead single Strife. Much like the track, the visuals don’t mess about, they just plug in and rock out.
The David Draiman-produced album marks the sixth full-length for Trivium, who toned down their usual metaphorical nuances to focus on the much more obvious and deliberate sound of pissed of metalers, exepmlified in Strife. Given the stripped-down nature of the song, Trivium have gone back to basics with the clip and scrapped the narrative to make way for a straight performance clip, filmed in an abandoned warehouse, with interjecting scenes of things on fire–metal.
The album is locked in for an Australian drop date of Friday, 11th October, meaning we won’t have to wait too long before experiencing the release live. Trivium are confirmed as part of Soundwave 2014, putting Aussie fans in prime position to hear the new jams.
