Victorian rock outfit The Smith Street Band are shooting a new music video this Sunday, 9th October and they want you to come down and be a part of it.
The band’s announcement via Twitter appears to confirm that new music from the band can’t be too far away, after they also posted a video to Facebook at the end of last month revealing that they’d finished recording a new material.
The only catch? The Smith Street Band want you to dust off your only flanny or band t-shirt. There’ll also be free beer and pizza for those who get there early enough. Sounds like a pretty friggin’ great deal to us.
“We’re gonna be shooting some classic ‘crowd at gig’ stuff down at the Reverence THIS Sunday and need a whole lot of you to come and rock out,” says the band’s tweet.
Unfortunately for you youngins it will be shot at a pub (Reverence Hotel, Footscray) so pub rules apply and it’s an 18+ shoot. The shoot will kick off at 4pm sharp.
