The Shins Have Finally Announced Their Live Return

The dry spell is officially broken.

After going three years without performing live, The Shins have announced their long-awaited return to the stage.

The legendary US indie rockers will headline England’s End Of The Road festival this September topping a huge bill that also features Animal Collective, Bat For Lashes, Cat Power, and more.

Their Thursday night set will mark the band’s first live performance since 2013.

Meanwhile, The Shins are reportedly working on the follow-up to their 2012 album Port Of  Morrow and have been teasing us with some new music via their official #Shinstagram (below).

Fingers crossed their festival appearance isn’t a one-off, and that a new album in the works means more live dates will follow *cough* Australian tour *cough*.
