The Mark Of Cain Announce Australian Shows

The Mark of Cain have announced their first national tour in six years. Equipped with their brand new album Songs of the Third and Fifth, the 80s hard rock outfit will be travelling throughout the country for a seven-date tour that stops in WA, SA, NSW and Queensland. The Mark of Cain’s fifth studio album is due out tomorrow, on November 2, and has already gathered much praise.

The Age hailed Songs of the Third and Fifth as being “an outstanding return. It has everything a fan could want, from the familiarity of the band’s crushing, minimal sound to the strong songwriting”. Meanwhile, the AU Review suggested that Songs… “May be The Mark of Cain’s best work to date and an Australian great waiting to be anointed”, and Rolling Stone wrote that it was “worth every bit of the wait. A career high point”.

The Mark Of Cain have stood the test of time and their return to the stage promises to be an out of control energy filled event to be be remembered. “Call it violent soul music, call it cold fear rock. This is music to be felt in the fist, the gut and the base of the spine!” says Murray Engleheart / Remedy.
