Sylosis Team Up With Six Feet Under For Joint Shows
Written by Mike Hohnen on 30th January, 2013
Sylosis are a power not to be reckoned with, not unlike contemporaries Six Feet Under. Both are known as a driving force for their generation of metal, which makes their fusion for two Sidewaves all the more badass.
Sylosis recently returned to the forefront of our attention with their latest album, Monolith, which marks LP number 3 from the Reading-based outfit. Monolith follows hot on the heels of the group’s sophomore album, Edge of the Earth, which dropped in 2011.
Six Feet Under are a band so powerful that just seeing the name will have you running to your iTunes to get your death metal fix. Fearlessly led into battle by frontman and icon of the underground scene Chris Barnes, the band have relentlessly trashed and burned their way into the metal history books and have been doing so since before most Gen Ys could even dress themselves.
Their latest release, Death Rituals, is testament to the quantity and size of this band’s balls. The record is just as likely to blow your speakers as it is to reach through them and smash your head into the desk.
