While Tool fans twist in the wind, frontman Maynard James Keenan continues to deliver new material from his other-other band, Puscifer. Donkey Punch The Night is the third EP from Puscifer and it’s set for release Tuesday, 19th February.

Just the fact that the opening track of Donkey Punch The Night is a cover of Queen‘s Bohemian Rhapsody is reason enough to check out the EP, but there’s also a cover of German metal band Accept’s Balls To The Wall and, of course, new original material from Puscifer.

When speaking about the new EP, Keenan explained that Donkey Punch The Night was recorded in his winery Caduceus Cellars and partly influence by the end of the world. Puscifer will soon set out on an Australia tour behind the EP.
