Staind’s Aaron Lewis Slams “Bougie Motherf*cker” Wes Borland As Nu-Metal Feud Rages On

~It’s been a while~ since we’ve heard anything about the beef between Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland and Staind frontman Aaron Lewis, but almost six months after the initial shots were fired, things have blown up in a big way.

ICYMI: back in December of last year, Borland unleashed a venomous spray against “that dickhead” Lewis via the Talk Toomey Podcast, professing that he wished “nothing but the worst” for the nu-metal singer.

Now, Lewis has fired back during a live solo show at The Orleans Showroom Theater in Las Vegas.

Prior to performing the song ‘Outside’, which he originally performed live during the 1999 Family Values tour with Bizkit frontman Fred Durst on backing vox, Lewis loosed the bee that has clearly been buzzing around in his bonnet since last year.

“I’m gonna sing this little ditty,” Aaron told the crowd (video below, transcribed via Blabbermouth). “I laid it down back in 1999. I don’t remember, but I do know that I walked into the dressing room of Limp Bizkit.

“Wes Borland, who I love dearly, who obviously has some fucking things to say about me,” he continued. “Fuck that motherfucker! I know that I started this with ‘I love him dearly’, because he’s part of the whole reason that I’m standing here right now in front of you. [Staind were originally discovered by Durst himself and signed to his Flip label imprint back in the day]

“And I find it really fucked up that… [trails off] This is what happened, okay? This is how it happened. This is exactly how it happened. And I don’t know how the fuck he came up with what he came up with. But I’m gonna tell you what happened.

Going on to tell his own side of the story of the infamous airport encounter that led Borland to brand him a “dickhead”, Lewis continues: “I saw this motherfucking bougie motherfucker riding on a fucking golf cart in an airport to his gate. I ended up at a gate really close to him. I went up to him. I said, ‘Wes, what’s up, brother? I miss you. I haven’t seen you in forever. How have you been?’ Good,’ this, that and the other thing. I’m, like, ‘Where are you headed?’ He’s, like, ‘I’m headed home — to Los Angeles.’ And I’m, like, ‘Hey, motherfucker, that ain’t home. Remember — you’re from Jacksonville, fucking Florida.’ That’s how it went down.”

“Have you seen the interview? Have you heard the podcast? That’s how it went down.

The singer went on: “‘Brother, don’t forget where the fuck you’re from. You’re from Jacksonville, Florida. You’re not from Los Angeles, fucking California. You’re from Jacksonville. You’re a real person. You’re not the plastic, fucked-up people that live in fucking Los Angeles.’

“And for that — for that — for reminding my brother, one of the people that are responsible for me standing in front of you this evening, reminding my fucking brother where the fuck he’s from… And now I’m the biggest piece of shit to ever fucking walk the face of the earth”.

Lewis added: “So, you know what? Wes Borland, you bougie motherfucker, I give all the credit to this next song to Fred. Fuck you.”

And it hasn’t taken Borland long to retort.

Taking to Instagram soonafter, the axeman wrote: “Hopefully this means that I never have to endure interfacing with him again.”

Damn. Maybe they’re both just having one of those days.
