There’s a been a fair bit of talk about a new release from Brooklyn noise pop duo Sleigh Bells and now we’ve got some almost official confirmation, with a leaked listing on Amazon suggesting that album number three from the outfit, Bitter Rivals, will be released on 7th October in the UK.
The page has since been deleted from Amazon, so while we don’t have concrete word from Alexis Krauss and Derek E. Miller themselves, it looks very possible that we’ll be getting new Sleigh Bells sooner rather than later. There’s even what’s reported to be the album’s artwork floating around the internerds (below).
Bitter Rivals will be the follow-up to their 2012 record Reign Of Terror, which spawned the monster lead single Comeback Kid. A new album could mean a return visit to Australia from Sleigh Bells, with the pair last hitting our shores back in January of this year for the Big Day Out.
