Sebastian Ingrosso (Swedish House Mafia) Tops Zane Lowe’s Hottest Tracks Of 2012

A poll co-ordinated by respected BBC Radio 1 presenter Zane Lowe has seen Sebastian Ingrosso‘s collaboration with fellow Swedish producer Alesso voted the hottest track of 2012.

The Swedish House Mafia member’s track Calling topped Lowe’s Hottest Tracks of 2012 list, which was compiled after Lowe asked fans to nominate their favourite songs for the year.

The choices were unveiled on Lowe’s show overnight, with Calling beating tracks from Green Day and Foals to take the top spot.

Ingrosso’s band Swedish House Mafia came in fourth with their worldwide smash/farewell single Don’t You Worry Child, with Enter Shakiri’s Arguing With Thermometers rounding out the top five.

Muse also showed their popularity with two tracks from their loved-and-loathed new album The 2nd Law making the top ten – Madness (No.8) and their London 2012 Olympic Games theme song Survival (No.10).

Ingrosso will tour Australia with Swedish House Mafia in January and February as part of their One Last Time farewell tour – with three shows in Melbourne and one in Sydney.

Swedish House Mafia announced their plans to split up in June following the end of their current world tour.
