Ringo Starr Announces Australian Tour Dates

Ringo Starr is headed to Australia next February for a national tour that includes most major cities. The former Beatle had confirmed an Australian tour with his All Starr band earlier in the month, but at the time no specific dates were given.

Now the word is out that Ringo will be performing at Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and…wait for it…Adelaide and Perth. The 5-date tour will see Ringo joined by the same All Starr lineup, which just completed a tour of North America. The current backing band is made up of Gregg Bissonette, Mark Rivera, Todd Rundgren, Richard Page (Mr.Mister), Gregg Rolie (Santana & Journey) and Steve Lukather (Toto).

Fans lucky enough to acquire tickets should expect a plethora of Ringo classics, including Yellow Submarine, Little Help From My Friends, It Don’t Come Easy, Wings, and Photograph.
