Tributes continue to roll in for one of rock n’ roll’s most influential musicians Chuck Berry, who died at the age of 90 over the weekend.

A stack of bands have paid their dues to Berry’s iconic 1958 single Johnny B. Goode, which helped to inspire countless musicians over the course of the decades that followed.

Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bon Jovi, performed covers of the track at their own live shows, while Sting uploaded a heartfelt acoustic rendition of the song to his Instagram page.

“We lost Chuck Berry yesterday,” Sting said. “Without Chuck Berry, there’s no Rolling Stones, there’s no Beatles, there’s no me. He was an incredibly influential musician and amazing lyricist. Though I’d never sung this song before, I wanted to find a way to pay tribute to him because we owe him so much.”

In a recent statement Berry’s family announced that music from his final album CHUCK will be released in the coming days.
