Rock, hip hop and rap supergroup Prophets Of Rage have confirmed that they are currently working on their debut studio album with one of Rage Against The Machine‘s longtime producers.
In a new in-studio video shared with fans (below), Prophets Of Rage confirm that they are working on their debut album at A&M Studios in Los Angeles with producer Brendan O’Brien, who had a hand in producing three of Rage Against The Machine’s four albums: Evil Empire, The Battle of Los Angeles and Renegades.
In the video, Prophets Of Rage say the album’s creation has so far been a “great process”. Describing what the record will sound like, they say they’re mixing rock, hip hop, rap and turntablism “into the Prophets Of Rage aesthetic”.
Prophets Of Rage’s debut studio album will be the follow-up to their 2016 debut EP The Party’s Over, and is still without an official title or release date.
Last year, Prophets Of Rage teased a world tour, as well as a possible Rage Against The Machine reunion.
