Presidents Of The United States Of America Announce Australian Tour
Written by Alex Langlands on 7th November, 2012
No it’s not Barack, or Mitt Romney (thank God), but your favourite American alternative rock band, who sing about peaches, The Presidents of the United States of America are coming back! That’s right, the (now) trio are coming to our shores in 2013 to continue the line of nostalgic acts taking us back to our heyday through their music.
Having already seen the tours of Wheatus, N-Trance, Eiffel 65 and Aqua, it only seems fitting that Presidents of the United States of America make their way Down Under. The band will be playing a string of intimate venues, including Adelaide (there’s a first). They will be “playing their classic, 5 x platinum, self-titled debut album in its entirety along with all their greatest hits”, according to their announcement, which should be quite an enticement for several of us.
With the tour comes a new release from the band, aptly titled Presidents of the United States of America 2013 Australian Tour EP; however, no tracklisting has been unveiled. But it’s still refreshing to see some new material from the group. Check out their your dates below.
