Watch Jebediah’s Ripping Cover Of The Chemical Brothers’ ‘Go’ For ‘Like A Version’

Aussie rockers Jebediah have taken to the triple j studios this morning for a stirling cover of The Chemical Brothers‘ recent Q-Tip-featuring single, Go, for the weekly covers segment Like A Version.

Jebediah’s The Chemical Brothers cover saw the band recreate the track’s motorik rhythms, with frontman Kevin Mitchell (aka Bob Evans) filling in on rhyme-duty for rapper Q-Tip. “Australia has been waiting 20 years to hear me rap,” Mitchell said prior to the performance.

“I thought, ‘now’s the time to do it.’ Time to give them what they want.”

While in the studio, Jebediah also performed their original track, Leaving Home, which features on their 1997 debut album, Slightly Odway.

Go features on The Chemical Brothers’ forthcoming album Born In The Echoes.
