Muse are preparing to unleash their seventh studio album, Drones, and they’ve already started hatching a plan to tour it Down Under.
Speaking with Music Feeds, bassist Chris Wolstenholme says they’ve already started mapping out the blueprints for an Australian Drones tour.
“We’ve been to Australia with every album we’ve ever done so there’s no reason not to with this album,” he says. “I mean, we haven’t got any dates booked at the moment but I’m almost positive we will all come to Australia.”
However, it seems unlikely we’ll see the juggernaut rock trio back on Aussie soil until the clock strikes 2016.
“I think it’s more likely to be the middle of next year or maybe towards the end of next year,” the bass-riffster explains. “I know we’re doing stuff in the ‘States at the end of this year and then there’s the European stuff after that, but I’m sure, after that, Australia will be on the list. I’m positive we’ll be down at some point.”
Muse will release their monster new album, Drones, on June 5th. For now, below you can check out their latest release, the super Muse-y track Mercy.
