Iron & Wine, vehicle for singer-songwriter Samuel Beam‘s deeply personal and poetic folk songs, have already been announced as one of the main draws for Bluesfest 2014, sharing the stage with John Mayer, John Butler Trio and more. Now Iron & Wine have announced that they will be playing two very special headline shows while Down Under.
Beam and co. will be playing one Sydney show at the famed Opera House and a Melbourne show at the equally iconic Forum Theatre. The highly-acclaimed Texas-native and his band will be delivering what is sure to be two intimate and splendorous performances, continuing a special bond that Beam has shared with Australian audiences for almost a decade.
His upcoming visit to Aussie shores will see him bring his latest album, Ghost On Ghost to life with a full band. The group have been touring extensively over the past few months and are poised and ready to share Iron & Wine’s fifth full-length as well as the rest of his much-loved discography with Australian audiences.
