Listen Out Line Up Official Announcement – Disclosure, Azealia Banks To Headline

Listen Out isn’t a festival, it’s a party,” say organisers, though by the looks of the 2013 line up for the Parklife replacement, this isn’t your typical BBQ and decks in the courtyard affair. Topping the IDM and house oriented bill UK sibling wunderkinder Disclosure, Twitter maniac Azealia Banks, TNGHT in live mode, Aluna George, Duke Dumont and Classix.

Disclosure are the hottest house act around at the moment, having recently dropped their debut album Settle after a string of killer singles. Listen Out will mark the duo’s first Australian appearance.

It seems the Listen Out tag line of “Party. Redefined.” may have been better expressed as “Festival. Redefined.” This is a 5000-plus ticketholder event, so even though the line up and capacity may be on the more compact side, let’s not kid ourselves – this is a festival, no matter the exclusive, boutique image promoters Fuzzy want to present.

So we’ve got the first line up announcement – now all we have to do is wait patiently for for the next round of acts to kick off the fun times festival season with Listen Out in late September.

Line up, dates, ticketing info and venue locations are below.
