Kate Miller-Heidke Announces Regional Australian Tour Dates, May/June 2013

As the buzz builds around her previously announced Heavenly Sounds tour of metro churches throughout the east coast, Kate Miller-Heidke has announced an extensive run of regional tour dates, taking the songstress just about all over the country between May and June.

The last time Miller-Heidke went bush was back in 2009 where she would have been tracks such as Last Day On Earth and Caught In The Crowd from her then-current album Curiouser. Now she’ll have a bevy of new tunes in her swag, namely those featured on last year’s Nightfight, which made it to number 2 on the charts.

But it’s not just the tunes in tow – having spent a serious amount of time touring through out Asia, Europe and Australia, not to mention Australia with Ben Folds Five, Kate is sure to have some tales to recall throughout her performances. Miller-Heidke will part of a 2-piece for the tour, collaborating once again with long-term creative partner Keir Nuttall, with spruced-up country-boy Franky Walnut supporting on all shows.
