Staying true to their word that they would be returning back to our shores, Canadian pair Japandroids have announced a full Australian tour for later this year. The band broke their Australian virginity only at the start of 2013 where they graced the stages of Laneway Festival and this time round they will be headlining their very own shows. Booyah!
What a roller coaster ride it’s been for fans of Japandroids. The elation following the band’s debut full-length album Post-Nothing was quickly cut short when they band announced they would be working together no more. But the people had spoken, and the success of the album brought them back together and resulted in the follow-up Celebration Rock.
If you caught their Laneway performance then you need no convincing to catch them again…and if you didn’t? Dude. Seriously. Get on this s**t. Twice in one year – it all suddenly feels as though it was worth the wait.
