The organisers of Perth’s biggest drug, smoke, and alcohol free all-ages festival, have announced the lineup for HyperFest 2014 and it’s one of their most epic yet, with an eclectic array of artists including Spit Syndicate, Allday, Glass Towers, Jackie Onassis, and Closure In Moscow.
Kicking off one HyperFest’s strongest lineups to date are the boys from Spit Syndicate, who’ve long wielded a reputation for powerful live performances, which are marked by the guys’ high energy and maze-like flows, spitting singles like Amazing, Folly, Beauty in the Bricks, and Starry Eyed.
Also on the roster is one of Aussie hip-hop’s quickest rising stars, Allday, who had a busy 2013, which saw the young gun opening for Yelawolf on his Australian tour. He’ll be bringing the quick-witted rhyming style from singles Claude Monet and Girl in the Sun with him to HyperFest.
“The Hyper Team of volunteers, under the direction of City staff, should be commended for the great job they do in bringing this event to fruition and it is pleasing to see they have had great success in securing these acts,” said City of Swan Mayor Charlie Zannino, praising HyperFest’s message.
According to Midland/Guildford Ward Councillor Mark Elliott, many local bands will also be given the opportunity to appear at HyperFest, with more than 115 bands applying to secure themselves a spot. HyperFest comes to Midland Oval in Perth on Sunday, 6th April from 11:00am to 8:00pm.
