Here’s What Happens When 1,200 Musos Perform Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ Together

Rockin’1000, the wonderful people who managed to wrangle 1,000 musicians to play Foo Fighters’ Learn to Fly last year, are back and have gone even bigger, getting 1,200 people to play a full concert in Cesena, Italy, including a rockin’ cover of Nirvana‘s Smells Like Teen Spirit.

With the full set including a range of classic rock tracks, Teen Spirit is getting the most attention, with a video of the performance (below) being viewed almost 100,000 time since being uploaded three days ago.

As for the rest of the set, the horde jammed out some classic tracks from The Beatles (Come Together), AC/DC (It’s A Long Way To The Top) and The Ramones (Blitzkrieg Bop), among others. They even managed to dig up some bagpipers for Acca Dacca.

You can check out some of the footage for yourself here, with some photos and the full setlist below.
