Hear New Foo Fighters Tune, ‘What Did I Do?/God As My Witness’

We’re four weeks into the rollout of Foo Fighters‘ eighth studio album, Sonic Highways, and to mix things up Dave Grohl and co have debuted a new track from the album.

A studio version of What Did I Do?/God As My Witness, which starts as a more straightforward radio-friendly rocker with a wall of guitars, slowing things down as we morph into the second half of the track, before we’re back into the power chords, and a suspiciously Beatles-esque riff.

What Did I Do?/God As My Witness was recorded in Austin with Gary Clark, Jr, both of which will feature in the next episode of the Sonic Highways doco series. Gary Clark, Jr, was also today announced as part of the Foos’ massive 20th anniversary celebration concert, to be held in Washington D.C. next year.
