Byron Bay metalcore outfit In Hearts Wake have teamed up with The Ghost Inside frontman Jonathan Vigil on a pummeling new version of their 2013 single, Skydancer.
The re-recorded version of Skydancer (below) gets straight to the point, rushing into fuzzed-out riffs, dynamic percussion and guest vocals from Vigil.
In Hearts Wake also continue to tease their Skydancer project website, which features a countdown timer currently set to end at 9am AEDT tomorrow, Wednesday, 4th March.
All proceeds from the sale of the original Skydancer single went to three not-for-profit organisations which support native populations and sustainability, including Australia’s Red Dust. In Hearts Wake raised a total of AUD$3000 for the charities.
In Hearts Wake released their third studio album, Earthwalker, in 2014. The band are now set to tour North America with The Ghost Inside throughout March and April. Catch the new version of Skydancer in full, below.
