Glass Towers Announce Debut Album ‘Halcyon Days’ And Australian Tour

We can all rest assured that Australian indie rock is in safe hands now that Glass Towers have just announced their debut full-length album, Halcyon Days, and an Australian tour to promote their new material.

Each expertly crafted tune on Halcyon Digest has been described by the band as an exploration of youth. Frontman, Ben Hannam, has stated that the album is a celebration of those teenage moments we all look back on fondly:

“The album is your invitation back into the heady rush of teenage days. Of lusting after the girl at that first house party, of escapism and endless weekends spent inside that girl’s bedroom. Of roaming the suburbs at night in a state of permanent intoxication, drunk on pure life. Being young and beautiful, living for the moment and never wanting to grow up.”

Glass Towers originally broke out onto the scene with EPs What We Were, When We Were and Collarbone Jungle, which led them to become on regulars on triple j and picked up as supports for the likes of Dappled Cities and The Kooks.
