Future Music Crowd Help A Wheelchair-Bound Punter Get A Better View

Festival crowds can often breed a sense of camaraderie as thousands of fans gather together to enjoy the main stage event, and a video from this weekend’s Future Music Festival shows exactly that kind of spirit.

The video, which you can watch below, shows the crowd hoisting a wheelchair-bound punter with a cast on his leg above their heads, giving him a clearer view of the stage ahead of him. The man is clearly enjoying his time in the air, before the crowd gently lower him back down. According to the Courier Mail, the events in the video occurred at Future Music Festival in Brisbane.

In the video, the man stops short of actually crowd surfing, a feat achieved by paralympian Dylan Alcott late last year at of Meredith Music Festival where he managed to crowd surf his way to the front only to then join Ghostface Killah on stage to spit Method Man’s verse on the Wu-Tang Clan track Protect Ya Neck.
