Aussie-born producer Flume has teamed up with California rapper Vince Staples and Perth producer/vocalist Kucka for a juicy new banger called Smoke And Retribution, which comes packed to the rim with bouncy rhythms and a cool contrast between the vocals of Flume’s collaborators.
Flume says he’s been “hanging out” to drop Smoke And Retribution (below), which has made its way into the wild less than two weeks after he shared Never Be Like You, the lead single from his forthcoming second album Skin, which remains without an official release date.
Flume has previously said that Skin, the follow-up to his 2012 self-titled debut album, is a dynamic record with some familiar faces on it, but at the moment these faces are being revealed track-by-track.
Both Flume and Vince Staples will perform as part of Laneway Festival 2016 beginning on 5th February. Catch Smoke & Retribution below, and Flume’s full Skin album teaser right here.
