Speaking with Dazed Digital recently, Wolfhard spoke about his musical influences and favourite bands. “I love ’80s and ’90s music… I love Nirvana, Joy Division and New Order – older alternative, I guess… I want to somehow get an album or an EP out,” he said.
It may not come as much of a surprise given that earlier this year he uploaded a video of himself playing Lithium by Nirvana on an unplugged electric guitar. Then, last month, he put up his own version of Salad Days by Mac DeMarco, this time with vocals.

In September this year, he gave PUP a stellar review for their latest album The Dream Is Over.
As it turns out, he also starred as a young version of Babcock in their 2014 semi-autobiographical video for Guilt Trip.

Wolfhard isn’t the only musical-loving member of the Stranger Things cast. Noah Schnapp (AKA Will Bywers, who resides in the Upside Down for the majority of season one) recently starred in the new music video for La Devotee by Panic! At The Disco.
And we can’t go any further without drawing attention to Milly Bobby Brown (AKA Eleven), who smashed out that viral Nicki Minaj Monster rap on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show.
It’s not only the rhymes that this pint-sized powerhouse has mastered. Brown has been singing like a boss since she was eight years old, regularly uploading home videos of her singing on her YouTube Channel. Check out this absolutely adorbs video of her tiny eight-year-old self singing Beyoncé’s Listen.

And then there’s Joe Keery, who plays Steve Harrington in Stranger Things, and who plays in a band that sounds a lot like early Tame Impala.
