FBi Reveals 100 Most Rotated Artists Of 2012

Sydney’s loved-up community station FBi Radio has pulled back the sheet, revealing the 100 most played artists of 2012. Following in the footsteps of ARIA and triple j, who have released similar lists, FBi’s collection stands alone from the other two, strongly reflecting the tastes of their listenership as well as their unwavering dedication to Aussie music.

Just in the top 10 alone, you’ll find 9 Aussie artists, which beats 2 Aussie artists in the ARIA top 100, with triple j’s unofficial hottest 100 fairing a bit better in the Aussie music category.

The dynamic duo Hermitude have taken the crown after a solid year of kicking ass, with FBi darlings Dappled Cities taking silver, and the new ambassadors of Australian music Tame Impala rounding off the top 3. It’s a fairly forward-thinking list of artists, with FBi showing support to many artists who have broken internationally with very little other homegrown radio play.

So here it is in all its glory: the FBi class of 2012.
