Ego Debuts Multi-Sensory Video Mixtape & Announces Australian Tour Dates
Written by Mike Hohnen on 20th December, 2012
One half of the Nice & Ego duo, Ego, has today pulled back the sheet from his latest project, revealing his debut multi-sensory video mixtape Watch Your Ego. The DJ/VJ hybrid has also announced a run of national tour dates, where he will be launching his aurally stimulating display.
The 30-minute audio visual showcase is a rollercoaster ride through some of the most elaborate compositions Ego has ever left his fingerprints on. The mixtape, which has garnered praise from near and far, holds tunes such as the Presets x Hermitude mash-up, the bizarro animation for Santigold’s Freak Like Me, and the fitting marriage of Donnie Darko and crack-house in his Daydreamer edit.
No stranger to the live setting, Ego has performed all over the country and in front of the Splendour in the Grass crowd, and he remains in high demand. The performance has been earmarked as one not to miss. You can see Ego slash and burn his way to new creative horizons at the below days.
