Weighing in on the ‘March For Our Lives’ student-led protests against gun violence that recently went down across America after 17 students were shot dead at a Florida high school earlier this year, the controversial rocker took to Instagram to open fire on those involved.
“The Whitney Houston song about letting the children lead the way wasn’t actually had operating paradigm for life,” Hughes wrote, underneath a cartoon equating gun control to a man cutting off his dick in order to prevent rape.
“And when the truth don’t line up with your bullshit narrative just hold your breath and stamp your feet and refused to except it…. then take multiple days off of school playing hooky at the expense of 16 of your classmates blood….!….” he continued. “It might be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic and disgusting……”
Boots Electric went on to point out that he was an authority on the matter after having survived a mass shooting himself at Paris’s Bataclan Theatre in 2015.
“As the survivor of a mass shooting I can tell you from first-hand experience that all of you protesting and taking days off from school insult the memory of those who were killed and abuse and insult me and every other lover of liberty by your every action,” he raged.
“Long Live Rock’n’Roll….. and may everyone of these disgusting vile abusers of the dead live as long as possible so they can have the maximum amount of time to endure their shame….and be Cursed….”
In another since-deleted post, he shared a doctored image of Parkland school shooting survivor Emma Gonzalez ripping up a copy of the US Constitution instead of a gun range target.
“Behold……the Awful Face Of Treason…..survivor of Nothing….Lover of Treason…..enjoy your little moment…..it’s about to End……” Hughes wrote of the child who watched her schoolmates murdered in cold blood, adding the hashtags “#stupidity #hatersofliberty #loversofsatan #borntolose #2ndamendment”
He also shared and then deleted a few other posts expressing similar pro-gun sentiments, which you can check out below.
ICYMI: Hughes caused controversy after the 2015 Paris terror attack on an EODM concert that claimed 88 lives by suggesting that it wouldn’t have happened if France didn’t have such strict gun laws, a view which caused other survivors of the massacre to dub him a “spreader of hate”.
Meanwhile, Run The Jewels’ Killer Mike also caused controversy today by appearing in a pro-gun ownership commercial for the NRA.
Hey, @jesseEODM I think going out of your way to attack a fellow victim of gun violence, let alone a child, is a pretty pussy ass move. Might wanna check yourself cause your ignorance is showing.
