Watch Blink-182 Give Us A Sneak Peak Of Their New Song ‘Brohemian Rhapsody’ Live
Written by Emmy Mack on 18th May, 2016
Blink-182 brought the surprises during their set at US radio station KROQ’s annual Weenie Roast.
For one thing, they weren’t even billed to play, ambushing shocked fans who were bummed out about Red Hot Chili Peppers having to pull out last minute due to Anthony Kiedis being rushed to hospital.
But as well as thrilling the lucky SOB’s with a surprise set in between Panic! at the Disco and Australia’s own Empire of the Sun, the now DeLonge-less punk rock trio also gave them a sneak peak of a brand new song off their forthcoming album California.
As KROQ reports, the tune is called Brohemian Rhapsody and appears as the final track of the new disc, which is due out on July 1st.
They kicked into the new tune following a rendition of All The Small Things that featured super-sub Matt ‘Alkaline Trio’ Skiba (and the crowd) taking on vocal duties in place of the still-MIA Tom DeLonge.
With a rapid-fire punk guitar line, a mental Travis Barker drum assault intro and trademark cheeky lyrics from Mark Hoppus, Brohemian Rhapsody sounds like a surefire riot.
Catch the live sneak peak below, alongside Blink’s full setlist, which also featured the live debuts of fellow California tracks Built This Pool and Bored To Death.
